Tasting Notes: Pale garnet with aromas of violet, red cherries and stone. A mineral palate with smokiness and spice is balanced with bright acidity and firm tannins.

Ageing/Vinification: Traditional open air fermentation with wild yeasts. Aged in big barrels (5-10 hectoliters) of cherry wood and oak for 14 month.

Vineyard: 2.5h of north facing vineyards on Mount Etna, 500m to 650m above sea level with soil of volcanic origin with presence of ash and lapilli.
